Fostering Small Animals

I have recently become interested in fostering an animal from a shelter.  The way I see it is that none of the animals in the shelter chose that life.  They are innocent creatures who are just looking to be cared for and loved.  So I want to help them!  I want to foster a animal from a shelter.  Even if it's for only a short amount of time, I think that I can make a difference in their life.  I can give them 2 great weeks of being loved and cared for.
I tried explaining this to Josh, but I dont think he is very excited about it. So not excited that it doesnt look like i will be fostering :(

The Weekend

Well the weekend went good.  It started Thursday after my art class, which also went very well!  My "Green" project was due on Thursday as part of the classes color/texture project.  Everyone was assigned a color or a texture. Mine was green.  I meant to take a picture of my project so I could post it but I guess Ill do that later and tell more about the project in that post. Thursday after art Amy finished my nails, that we had been trying to do for 2 days lol.  Then Josh and I packed up and headed to Salisbury, NC, where I guess you could say our actual week end began.  Didn't do anything that night since we got in pretty late, but the next morning we got up and went fishing for the day.  Caught bought 15 crappie.  Which wasn't too bad since the weather did a complete turnaround on us.  Put it this way, no more tanning, I had a hoodie and my drake jacket on!  And i was still a little chilly.  Friday night we just hung out at the house and watched tv.  Saturday morning we met up at Hendrix BBQ with our dear old friend Ben for breakfast.  Then we all went out to concord mills.  The boys wanted to go to bass pro,  me on the other hand just wanted to walk around the mall. Coach was having a sale, tried to scimmy Josh into buying me something, didnt work.  We headed back to town early because Ben had to go to work. Which worked out good for Whitney, Josh's sister, because then i could do her hair for her boyfriends play that night.  Josh & I ended up going to watch the Ryan in the play too.  We didnt have anything better to do so I figured why not.  The only downside was that it cost $10 a person so I had to pay $20 since it was my doing for us to go.  It was good though.  Had fun.  Sunday was a lounging day for me.  I didnt do hardly anything but sleep.  Then after dinner with josh's parents, we headed back to Raleigh.  And that was pretty much my weekend.

So its about 8 already! I have been lying here awake since like 7 just lounging. I think everyone else is still asleep.  I feel stressed a bit because this is about to be a very busy day and week. I have a math project due Monday, psych test Tuesday, meeting Wednesday, art project due Thursday! But thank the Good Lord I do not have classes on Friday so I will start my weekend and relaxing Thursday night after art!  Well I think ill go wake everyone up! Were supposed to go eat breakfast with my grandparents this morning!
